TaxReturnStudio
Turns a client's pile of documents into a complete, reviewable, approved set of return inputs, with provenance on every figure and a human in control of every one.
Provenance on every figure · nothing exported until approved
The problem
Preparing a return from a document pile is manual triage and data entry, and the real risk is quiet: a form that was needed and never produced, an input that was wrong and never questioned.
What it does
TaxReturnStudio ingests the documents in whatever form they arrive, classifies and extracts them with source provenance, works out the complete set of forms and schedules the return requires, and puts every field in front of the advisor to approve, correct or flag. Only an approved snapshot can be exported. It is the sibling of TaxStrategy Studio and shares its on-device, encrypted foundation.
Capabilities
What it does, specifically.
Real-world ingestion
Single files or whole folders of scanned PDFs, photos and spreadsheets, with local OCR.
Provenance on every figure
File, page and box, or sheet and cell, with a confidence on each extraction.
Completeness contract
Determines the forms and schedules the return needs and flags what is missing, doubtful or unsupported. The anti-goal is a silently incomplete return.
Entity-general
Individual, Schedule C, partnership, S corporation, C corporation, trust and Texas franchise, with California as the first state.
Advisor in control
Approve, correct, clear, revert or flag per field. A correction never overwrites what the document said.
Approval manifest
An immutable, encrypted record binds the advisor's sign-off to the exact input snapshot before any export is possible.
Labelled sanity estimate
A federal bottom-line estimate, labelled as such and never presented as the return.
Review workbook
A spreadsheet for offline reading alongside the in-app grid.
